After several years focusing on professional road racing, I’ve recently switched gears to focus on gravel/adventure racing with support from PEARL iZUMi and Argonaut Cycles. As a brain tumor survivor, mountain bike tour guide, van lifer, bike industry journalist, and cycling coach, my bike has taken me through quite a lot in my life. Not all rides are good ones, but I've always found a day on the bike helpful in keeping my mind present toward what matters most in life. If you happen to be racing a gravel race in the U.S. this year, you'll likely see me and my wife Nicole in our big silver van. Don't hesitate to say hello!
